They missed a big mention...

In the late 80s version of of DC Comic's "Doom Patrol" the character of Negative Man was combined with a female doctor and created an intersex person who took the codename "Rebis". It was Rebis who ended up creating the character "Coagula" that is mentioned in the article. This was as close as you could get to a trans character for years without it being insulting to trans people.

I'm told STFU more times in a day than most people get told in a lifetime

Jimmy Olsen

Jimmy Olsen did it for me. He appeared in several issue cross-dressed. Many of them read like stories here on BC, with the exception that he never decided to openly embrace his feminine side. But the fact that he was there over and over again, speaks volumes to me about the attraction of feminine in people like me.

When Jimmy was dallying in the feminine mystique, I was firmly entrenched in "only a cross-dresser" land. So I was taken by the turn of events that put Jimmy in a dress. I especially liked that he was convincing as a girl. I could only dream of that kind of success.

TG Forum has a nice spread on it.

Happiness is being all dressed up and HAVING some place to go.
