OK, here it is. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/health/2012/05/25/man-admitted-t...

Medically, this is exactly what happened to me, but we think that they did a radical Hysterectomy on me at birth. Now that this is out in the open on a national network, I expect to see more stories like this.

I wonder... Sounds wrong to me,

>> According to the Intersex Society of North America, more than 1,500 children a year are born intersex. <<

I think it should be one out of every 1500 are born intersex. I had a hard ride today. I can't get enough motivation to look up proper stats.

Thanks, Gwen

I don't know about proper stats...

Coming from ABC, you'd think that they would have the major facts straight, unless they got bought out by the Sun. :)

As far as I go, I know exactly what happened to me and the years of rejection and disgrace that I endured over it. I was very immersed in the conservative Christian community and seeing how people in this community are treated was a very harsh education on taking the words Jesus Christ spoke much more too heart.

I do not have the latest stats on this but one thing is ringing through the medical community and environmental community, rumor or not, is that the incidence of Inter-sex is up and they are trying to figure it out. Just looking around me at the environmental issues we face, it is not surprising.

I have not done scientific studies, but I know lots of families where there are 5 girls and one boy.
