My skills on BCTS with pictures is not remarkable but I hope this works out.
I have been working on a Dragon story for quite some time, and do believe that there are still a few living. I was taking pictures in the mountains about 50 miles from my home but did not look at them until today, a month later. Much to my astonishment and joy I found a photo of one laying quietly at the edge of the woods near the top of a 5,000 foot peak. He was not hiding at all but his camouflage made it very difficult to spot him until I zoomed in on the area where he lay. Admittedly the picture is somewhat degraded due to the upload process.
The first thing I saw was his left eye, and then left nostril with his closed mouth just below. His head appears to be about 2 feet long.

I can see where you could imagine the shadows in the bushes look like a dragon, (kind of like seeing shapes in clouds) but until you get a video of him moving after you poke him with a stick I'll still withhold belief.

If there are dragons they will be very good at camouflage. And they will hold still so that you can barely see them. Try to poke one? It's a magical being, and can go immaterial if it needs to. Probably has to to survive modern times!
Here be Dragons
Back around 1980 I remember seeing a sign in the Brecon Beacons that said,
"Here be Dragons".
Underneath some wag had written
"and the SAS"
The Breacon Beacons are used by the SAS for training. You never know when you might come upon them even in the foulest weather.
The next time I went up that road, the sign had gone.
You never know when you might come face to face with a real one(a dragon that is) so just be careful out there.
Talking of dragons.
As you well know Gwen, we Welsh know a lot about dragons, (We even have one on our flag.)
Here is a picture of Jamie pensively consulting the 'Old Carmarthen Water Dragon' for advice.
Mae Hen Ddraig Dwr Caerfyrddin, (Welsh the Old Carmarthen Water Dragon.) is reputed to live under a secret waterfall in the deepest folds of the Welsh hills and only appears when maidens seek her advice. Jamie was lucky when the dragon's crocodilian head emerged from the falls to help her with her problem.
PS. This up in the Brecon Beacons as well, so perhaps it's one of the dragons that Samantha MD mentioned.
