Does this remind anyone of a couple of the stories on BCTS?

especially because they are Spanish. 'Macho' is very important to them.

#Like a girl
I think this is a good addition to the #like a girl campaign Gwen. Those of us who have lived on both sides of the fence know better than most that less explosive muscle mass doesn't make us wimps.

2015 and people are still
2015 and people are still shocked that there are women who are a lot better than men in things...freaking idiotic that people just can't accept that women are equal and can play "with the big boys". "Big boys" is apt since men who can't accept that there are women who are better than them aren't men at all, just overgrown boys.
Then again my views might be tainted by my sisters beat the snot out of my brother on the basketball court, baseball diamond, and track and my niece run circles around my nephew in just about anything.
I'm told STFU more times in a day than most people get told in a lifetime
I have read it three times
I have read it three times but I am still going to buy it. It is one of the good ones. I hated to see it taken down from BGTS but Susan deserves the royalties from such a great book.
Women's football...
Fifteen soccer/football players have scored more than 100 goals in international competition. Fourteen of them are women. The only man on the list, Iranian Ali Daei, is in 8th place. The leading scorer, Abby Wambach of the USA, has 184 international goals, 75 more than his 109, and that's assuming she doesn't add any more in her last few games before retiring at the end of the year, which is unlikely.
The next highest-scoring male soccer player has only 84 goals. I can't tell you where that would fall against women players, though. Wikipedia's page of top-scoring women lists those scoring 100 or more; their page for men had to go down to 50 goals or more to have a meaningful list. Even the famed Pelé only scored 77 goals internationally.
So, yeah, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest to see a woman run rings around men on the soccer field.
distaff footballer
In a non-contact sport, why not. She gave up a lot of height, but height isn't important. She is a great player period.
