My son has started another one of his emotionally abusive rants and it has been so severe that I will take what legal action that I can. Here in Oregon, what he is doing may be illegal, but he lives in Longview, Texas. So, there is probably not much that can be done unless he comes to Oregon.
It makes me feel really shaky and upset. I am sure that most of us know what it is to be attacked by relatives. He is a member of the same nutter Christian group that threw me out.
For those who pray, I would appreciate your prayers.

I'm with you - Its pretty bad that he can't accept your change. I'm sorry he is Bigotry and member of a church that interrupts the bible to there ways that are totally wrong. In all the years I have read it I have never read it that way! A Friend always! Richard

I assume he is doing this by phone. Since phones have become so common and cheap, blocking calls don't work. Wonder if abusive phone calls are against the law? Seems like they should be, just like obscene phone calls
For starters
Cut off all contact with him. Don't take his phone calls, don't read his emails, etc. You don't need the abuse, and you certainly don't deserve it. Yeah, I know, he's your son and all that, but that doesn't give him any right to verbally abuse you. Don't be like the horse that runs back into the burning barn. Cut the cord, and stick with it. Luck, hon.

It's hard to be attacked by someone you love. Just hold on...
There maybe options.
If he threatened you over the phone, that is a federal level felony.
Also, Oregon might have cyberstalking laws, if he is using the internet to find you, or contact you.
If he publicly tells lies about you, that you can prove in court are lies, that is defamation of character, which can be sued over.

You sound pretty desperate & I have great faith that prayer not only helps but it can succeed when nothing else does. My AA sponsor told me 18 years ago to "pray for the bastard" it may take several prayers but over time it has always worked for me. Consider him in my prayers. Another Brian

He is a fanatic and a sadist. Last night he got mad at me and blocked me. I am blessed. Now, being mutually blocked, there should not be a problem.

I so desperately want to suggest that you tell him to f--k off but I know that does not help you at all Gwen. Ask him to quote any words attributable to his New Testament prophet that are directed towards transsexuals and/or transsexualism.
