On July 1, Amazon will turn off their Payments gateway and the links that BC has been collecting gifts for the Hatbox will go away. Any ongoing subscriptions will be canceled as far as collecting future payments. All such subscriptions will, however, continue to be honored for at least two years.
So this is the last chance for anyone who wishes to contribute money to BC through the existing version of the Amazon gateway. We may have another Amazon gateway up in future weeks but the software and interface to be used are not clear.
Starting this coming week, we will be opening up our new version of a Hatbox with a number of new features, including not only subscriptions but single purchases of stories and the ability to directly contribute stories to the Hatbox. The payment gateway, however, will be P**P** for the time being.
More on this later. But for now, remember, if you want to contribute a cash gift to us through the Amazon gateway, it will be going away before Wednesday.

What does it show as
Erin, I know I set up a repeating contribution but I don't remember what it shows up on my bank account as. I received an email last week forewarning of a charge for $25 billed to QnEZ which I am wanting to know if it is this charge for BC. I hope so since it is well deserved. I just don't want a scam charge to my account which I is unknown.

QnEZ is our tiny little webhosting company, so we bill BC through that or through Janglewood, our equally small web management company. Recurring payments through Amazon will stop at the end of June.

They object to having their name mentioned on adult content oriented sites that are linked to other sites where things can be charged to them. So, we don't want to lose our P**P** accounts even tho we do have links through Janglewood to where you can contribute to us through P**P**. This may not be a problem anymore since their corporate culture is no longer tied to the politically reactionary founder of Ebay but who knows?
