Well, five days into the new year, and its turning into crap already.
I got a notice in the mail Friday about the accident I had last year saying I owe just under $ 2,500. As I have no coverage for that accident, I am on the hook for all of it, and so Monday I will have to go to my bank and see if I get a loan. Trouble is, I live so close to the edge money-wise, I dont know how I am going to pay it back ...

You could always say, Take it or leave it and I if you want it all not then you will get nowt as I'll go bankrupt. Yes I know it is extreme but worth thinking about?
No
No refunds, no returns. Time gives lousy customer service, I'm afraid. You only get a trade-in, and you have to wait a year to get it.
More seriously, I'm sorry to hear about your problems. I see someone else already suggested trying to work out an installment plan, and that seems like good advice. If this was a judgment of what you owe, I'll also suggest talking to any legal aid society you have nearby to see if they can help out. A lot of jurisdictions have hardship programs if you qualify.
