Went out for lunch with my mom, and got a chance to talk with the waitress, and she was telling me about being a tomboy for a long time, and then surprising her male friends when she decided to get girly for a group that had come back from Afghanistan.

Its kind of funny, how many really pretty girls prefer to be super tom-boys, at least for some time in their lives, while I would have given just about anything for the privilege of being prettied up for a dance or whatever.

Ah, well.

So?

After SRS I am still a bit of a tomboy. Girls have their masculine side too, ya know? I really suggest that all of ones' self transitions and most of who you were as a person transitions with you and is still part of you. There is nothing to be ashamed of to be in touch with your 'masculine side'. I am a girl/woman never doubt but I have to be my own person and not a silly stereotype.

I've had my SRS too, and I

I've had my SRS too, and I don't have any issue being someone who likes wearing makeup and dressing up at times, and playing video games or assembling computers as well. It makes me me. In fact not being a flamboyant caricature or stereotype has helped me blend in better.

Extremes are better avoided

There is always the chance of being unbalanced, I agree with Kimmie that one needs to have a masculine and feminine side no matter what their physical sex is.
