Well, I came home from helping the ex with the doc's office, when I found out that one of my aunts is trying to gather our family to have me charged with elder abuse and neglect in regards to my mom. But mom is making her own choices in continuing to work and having me live with her. All I can do is have mom state that clearly to my aunt, and hope that's enough to stop this.

Then so is everyone who moved back home with their parents... what complete and utter BS your aunt (though perhaps another word that ends in unt is more appropriate)is spewing... you and your mother mutually take care of each other and if that is Elder Abuse, then I am Cisgendered... Goddess... the nerve of some people.

I know you love your Mom but if they are so concerned then they can take care of her and ALL the stuff that comes with it. Just.....grr....those who are going through taking care of their parent/s have NO idea of the stress and the resources.

If it seems serious get some outside help. They will characterise you as some sort of pervert and not fit to look after your mother, and her as having Alzheimers,

Two things that you might consider. First, of course, would be to look into some sort of legal help. Also you might contact any transgender advocacy groups in your region to find out it this happens to folks like us, and if so, how has it been successfully handled in the past. Either way, it's just one more thing to pray about, aye? Or as my cousin Amelia might say, Jeez!

Well, this is pretty common behavior among siblings, especially those who think you have flown over the cookoos nest.

Elder abuse has to be seen and prominent
I have siblings who have done all they could to my mom. I live east og them with the Mississippi seperating us. I called the elder abuse hotline in Montana. I was told unless I see it happening directly I have no basis for filing a complaint. Hopefully the Canadian government has the same policy. When relatives start complaining its because they have their own ideas of how to abuse their siblings and get by with it.
Find legal help, find a Legal representative who works with transgender and family issues.
I was left out of my grandmothers wil because I am very independent. The same siblings who abuse my mother abused our grandmother. I stay away from Montana so I will not go to prison for taking out my siblings. So the six of them are still breathing good air which makes me wonder why.
