There have been a number of news articles lately about supposed Christians acting hatefully towards gay, lesbians, or trans people.
But fortunately, not all Christians are like that, even ones who think its a sin.
A couple of people I can point to as examples of that is my brother and sister-in-law.
No matter how much they may think I'm making a mistake in transitioning, they continue to show love and support to me even when I was acting in a way that made me less than loveable.
Just wanted to give them some props for this.

Were always meant as to direct people how they should act not how they should force others to act. The bullies are not Christians they are just using the Christian Bible as a weapon of mass destruction and not it's intended purpose a tool of mass enlightenment.

Jesus never told us to hate anyone. In fact, his whole ministry was about Love. The hypocrites who try to use the Bible to advance their hatred are the true perverts, as they are trying to pervert the Good Word.
They are misguided and possibly need to get some help. It's hard, but we have to try to forgive them, and hope that someone can show them the right way.

Each person on this planet has to live in accordance with their own heart. I really love your sentiment, and hope people can take it that one step further. It is our actions that will speak louder than any words we ever say, and if we show people that we unconditionally love them, then it doesn't matter where, or if, we go to church.
The only true gospel is love, real unconditional love, and everything else is window dressing. Everything else is designed to try to get you to the point where you really love yourself, and everyone else, equally.
