yesterday at work while I was in the washroom, I stood up, and for a moment saw myself pants down in the mirror, seeing everything. I dont think I could possibly explain how ugly that part of me seems to me, how ... wrong it feels to have male parts.

I actually cried at the sight.

Sigh.

My reaction

to seeing my own junk in the mirror is simply single-minded determination to get it fixed. I shall smash down any wall that is erected (for want of a better word!) before me.

it's usually

My body hair that puts me into fits...

I'm not saying I like having those bits, but they don't depress me near as much as the body hair, which, just, will, not, go, away!

You will find that many of us here know how that feels and can relate to the feeling of wrongness to put it mildly.

Was I really Transgendered?

I used to look at my stuff, and hate it because that meant I was a man and I hated men with a homicical vengeance, and worse yet, I was one of the enemy. At the time, Ii did not know if I was a woman, I just had so much self loathing. I was preparing to cut it all off by myself, when I found a Urologist that was retiring to do it for me on the down low and cheap.

Astonishingly, +7 years later, I am happily living as a man.

Just kidding.

I have had a I hate my body day everyday of my life.

I have gone through my life showing and telling people who I am. I have been threatened, I have been physically and sexually abuse, and I have been called the nastiest names anyone could imagine. But yet, I am still here, and I am still me albeit not totally physically. To be who we are takes strength that even the strongest man doesn't possess. Thank you for sharing Dorothy Colleen.
