Well, after having a painful day at work, I gave up on the shoes and traded them in for a men's pair.
It sucks that there isnt pretty stuff in larger sizes, but that's life, and I need my feet more than I need pretty.
Not going to play Cinderella's step-sister just to prove how much of a girl I am - cause I am a girl regardless, and was even when all my clothes were boy's.
Ah, well.

It's actually a major thing for all girls.
It's a very common complaint where I work that so much good utility clothing isn't really as well made or available for women. I know lots of girls that have to buy things they need to get a decent product from men's sections or even the price.

I need size 15EE in women's shoe sizes, inn a world where it is not easy to even find women's shoes in greater than size 12, leave alone any with the width across the toes I need. I have 2 toes longer than the big toe and a third not much shorter

Lane Bryant doesn't carry anything for the skinny girl and VS doesn't carry a bra over 38 band size. Besides, neither carry steel toed shoes.

In high school
In high school, my youngest daughter refused to buy or wear girls tennis shoes. She insisted on wearing boy's high tops. She's not now nor has she ever been a tomboy and now, age 39, is pretty much a girlie girl.

I don't want to sound like I'm rude or indifferent
I was once told to shop where black women buy shoes and there you may find comfort in shoes that are feminine and yet good for your feet. Since I wear an eleven in womens shoes I find practicality in some of the shoes I like. I have a pair of boots that when worn actually compress my bloated right foot back into shape. Now that it is getting cold again I'll have boots that will help me get my right foot back.
