A new day dawned.
As Aurelia yawned,
New thoughts spawned.

In her lover's bed,
She rose her head
And thought about where she fled.

Fugit tempus delighted.
She had arrived in town benighted.

Her carriage had sped,
Her worries had shed.
As she fell into dream,
So she wouldn’t scream,
If she ever saw the air stream.

She went far, far away,
Almost to Cathay,
Seemed like less than a day,
But for speed, she did pay.

She had done no crime,
But she knew not time,
Without any grime,
Nor bells to chime.

She left on March’s ide,
Sleeping through a long, long ride.

How long it’s been,
Will soon be seen.
A whirl of speed,
No time to bleed.

Her mother was from here,
Left for her father fair.
This town was one of care,
Now out to help the heir.

Her father went mad,
Seeking what he had,
While Aurelia was just sad,
Seeing the king go bad.

Then she got scared,
Of the plans he’d prepared,

She had to leave,
To let him grieve,
And not let him achieve.

So she arrived at her destination,
To her, a new nation,
And did some rumination.
On her situation.

The magical lass,
Had a magical glass.

Back home, she could check,
If her dad’s still a wreck,
And whether to remake the trek.

Was this the favor of some divine?
Now her father seemed just fine,
And she took that as a sign.

But to go back,
A lot she did lack,
And nothing she did pack.

She soon did learn,
She needed to earn,
Some gold to burn,
To fuel her return.

To get the cash,
To turn into ash,
She didn’t do anything rash.

She found the near town,
And sold off her gown.

It was only a start,
But she met the local tart,
Who played a surprise part,
In satisfying her heart.

“Ring a Ring o' Rosey,
A pocket full of posey,
Founded the town,
When she saw the lake and the city.”

Finding a wonderful girl,
Who showed off her pearl,
To the rosy treat,
And found her someone new to meet.

Seeing her new lady love,
she seemed like a soiled dove,
Dirty and with wings, like an angel from above.

Completing a puzzle,
Finding her someone to nuzzle,
Her guide gave a laugh,
And sent them to a bath.

The bath and the spring,
Were both the same thing,
Getting her clean,
And a silvery sheen,
They knew what they’d seen,
Both not yet queen.

The winged wonderwright,
Wanted to solve her love's plight,
So she crafted a rite,
To send her by light,
Back to her birthright.

She came along,
So things wouldn't go wrong,
But it triggered a heartsong.

Both in sickness and in health,
They’ll never lack for wealth.

So the bards sing
This love story’s ending.

They went through something old she thought was new,
Something both boxy and blue.
Back home, Aurelia flew.
To show her father her beau.

Are responsible for many a start to a journey. But nobody died on this one.

Indeed!
