Just a friendly reminder that the contest ends in only a few days!
If you still have a story you want to enter, then here's a reminder of the rules. We've had a couple entries that break the rules so far, and we'll be giving them an honorable mention when it comes time to list the contest stories.
As of right now we have 21 entries including ineligible ones. if we can get four -- just four! -- more entries before Saturday night at midnight, then we'll have earned that extra reward I promised in my last blog post!
Thanks again to everyone who's contributed to the contest, either with stories or comments. It means a lot to us, and we're sorry we can't offer more in terms of prizes at the moment.

Sorry! Back at work, and also deep in 'Mates'. My short story spasm for New Year was done while I was off work sick.
I got one finished
I wrote a 6k words story even though I just had the idea late last night. Was the cutoff at midnight eastern or pacific time? Because if it was EST then site lag while I was trying to post may have caused me to miss it by a minute. Ah well, at least I wrote something.
