Secret longing
I always identified with Sarah Jane Smith. Not a doctor, but a superbly-perfomed character none the less. She was a terrific foil for Tom Baker. I cried most of the day Elizabeth Sladen died. She was like many family members and friends of mine; she died of cancer.
