So I have been having more issues with my walk.
Now, I have always walked weird, because my knees are slightly pointing away from each other, making me walk like I was moseying into town after a week of riding a fat horse. But lately, it seems like it has gotten worse, as my right foot is not only pointing further away from straight, I am now walking on the side of my foot.
The other leg is a little straighter, but it's also the one with more issues with arthritis, which causes problems on that side as well.
So far, the limitations this is causing is minor, but obviously this is heading down to place where my mobility is seriously impaired.
so hugs appreciated.

Re: problems with my walk
You're gonna hear this a lot ...
= First, talk to your doctor, Your doc should know way more about human bodies =especially yours=, than anybody here on BC.
= Second, two 'linked' things: arthritis is often linked to both inflammation, and sometimes is an autoimmune 'thing'. Dairy (*), in =all= forms promotes both inflammation and provokes our auto-immune response. Both factors of dairy can push us into more/worse arthritis.
Third, and this is from the guy with a 30+ BMI (**):
Drop weight fast as you safely can. And please, no 'pills' or 'magic' food items (like that tea grown in the foothills of Mt Everest), and =no= surgeries.

(**) I just don't have the guts to compute my current BMI ... But 30 pounds over my desired 124 can't be good ... Sigh.
Drugs
Three times in my life I've had problems with my walk. Twice the problem was traced to a proscribed drug. I quit taking the drug and the problem was resolved. The second time the drug waz Zetia and it took eighteen months to clear it from my system.
The third time had to do with a new Mexican restaurant opening in my neighborhood. I became their best customer. After a bit I realized the excessive sodium wax not agreeing with me. I quit eating Mexican and the problem was solved.
