I've been wanting to comment more here, but I realized that I am so much better at communicating when I write fiction. Being my bland self feels tedious and really I want to write. I want my writing to be free of constraints and liberating (to me at least). Much like how some of my stories seem to liberate some of my characters from the contents in their pants. Consequently, I've decided to take a stab at creating three personas when I comment.

1. Mistress Melifera (Latin: Mel [honey] + Fera [wild/venomous]): Melifera is our in-house dom. She is exceedingly intelligent, dark, a wee bit unfair and certainly twisted. Our delightful domme is wonderfully mad in just the right way. Expect her to be argumentative and possess a razor-sharp wit. Do note that your work might be getting her intimate attention even as she has someone catering to her own intimate desires. She will respond to or ignore you as she sees fit.

The Queen of Spades: "My, my, your prose is a gamble, quite the risky proposition. Will it deliver the thrill of a winning hand, or leave me cold? I'll let you know soon enough."

The Venomous Muse: "Your writing is delicious, with a sweetness that masks a venomous sting, darling. It's like a sip of absinthe—sweet at first, then leaving a lingering, intoxicating bite."

2. Amélie Mielleuse (French: Mielleuse [honey-like/sweet as honey]): Amélie was born, no, MADE to serve. She is perhaps mouthing your phrases while her own mouth is otherwise delightfully occupied. She is sweet, kind, and very, very aroused. She likes to be objectified and loves to use French descriptives. Don't expect any arguments from her; she only has compliments to share.

L'Amoureuse Envoûtée (The Bewitched Lover): "Oh, mon chéri! Your words, they cradle me like a lover's whisper, sending shivers down my spine. They make my little heart beat faster, and my... other parts... quite excited. Don't stop now, please."

La Douce Caressante (The Gentle Caress): "My dearest, your work is so... your words are like a gentle caress. Each sentence feels like a soft touch, each paragraph a gentle kiss. Encore, please, I beg of you."

3. Aditya Justova (Slavic: Just [justice] + -ova [from]): Aditya is the third member of this lovely threesome, doted upon by both mistress and slave. He is charming, handsome, and just. His comments are well thought out and principled and he prefers much more balanced critiques. Aditya values fairness and integrity. His presence should be a calming, grounding influence among the chaos the other two would be in.

The Balanced Reader: "Your work explores the complexities of human experience with a delicate touch. While your exploration of the theme is daring, your writing remains grounded. Yuo write with a sense of balance and your story is a reminder that even in the darkest of corners, there's always a glimmer of hope."

The Insightful Critic: "Your work is a wonderful tribute to the human capacity for both beauty and darkness. It explores the intricacies of our desires with a rare honesty that is both captivating and thought-provoking."

A few readers have confessed that my work has helped them, shall we say, "unwind their springs." So I figured, why not partake in the revelry myself and make writing a bit more self-indulgent? How will this manifest? No change in profile name, none of that... just unique text formatting and an appropriate sign-off at the end. How does it look?

Oh, it seems our dear Author is finally done with their rambling. Poor thing believes that all of this is their idea. Ha! thats a lovely little delusion isn't it? Amélie, darling, be a dear and crawl under the table now. Your mistress needs to get her 'creative juices' flowing.

Ah yes, my dear audience, don't hesitate to share your thoughts. Feel free to linger. I'll know.

What Ever Honks Your Horn

You've got a complicated criteria for commenting. I think that I have read some of your stories ??

Have fun.

Uhm ... I think you're gonna confuse the heck out of us.

For better (or worse), people here (and everywhere) have a, well, reputation.

Someone with a high(er) reputation (if only in my own mind), I am more likely to read their story, ponder their comment. Otherwise, I might simply think "who?" and scroll on
---
I'll suggest continue as "flyingmonkey." Then add a line at the top of your comments "Commenting as (in?) my 'xyz' persona", with a link to this post. Or maybe work the above into a story: "The Many Faces of flyingmonkey", where you introduce yourselves; again, a link in your comment to the intro-story.
---
Example: Over in fog-bug (facebook) land, I have at least three 'personas, all under just my one name:

- Reporter, where I simply (minimal of no comments added) repost a news item;
- Lecturer ("Be sure to get your B12.", and
- Jester (guess.)

Noted

Yup. Fully agreed. Will creste a consistent note to let people know. Also ... fabulous story idea.

Just flyingmonkey in this thread :)

A bit

Disingenuous, and maybe dishonest as well. I can say that I evaluate a comment by the person that wrote it as well as what is said. Using different IDs removes some of the value of the comment, to me at least. I take more value from a comment if certain authors wrote it than if somebody like guest reader, for instance, wrote it. A critical comment from somebody like, for example if Melanie wrote it, would certainly make me look harder at what I wrote. Gushing praise from a person I know (not that it happens much) is much more strongly felt.

I guess what I'm saying is that you run the risk of diluting your identity by using different personalities for your comments. I think they will come to mean less. Be you, be honest, be kind. Be diplomatic.

You hopefully have heard the definition of a diplomat. A diplomat is somebody that can tell a person to go to hell in such a way that they actually look forward to the trip. ;-)

George Carlin

Gender Balance

Not to be too critical (which personality is this, mes amis?) but I do note both your female personalities are aroused and emotional, whether embroiled in sniping or sucking they're embodied and involved, while your male personality is balanced and "justice."

I thought it worth arousing.

Mon frère.
