While looking for something else, and I am very glad that I did. This was an outstandingly well written story, and even though I am not a fan of the whole superhero genre, I have saved it in my bookmarks and I know I will be re-reading it again multiple times.

The reader should beware though - it was so upsetting to me that it actually kept me up last night crying until I actually fell asleep from exhaustion. The author does a fantastic job of creating so much empathy with the main character and the anguish that she feels for her missing love that it is upsetting to read. And the ending is even more so.

Only a truly good author can make the reader feel what the characters are going through. I have not read anything else by this author, but I know I will be.
