What The Eater Wanted

As above, so below,
The Eater, his sister’s shadow.
He wanted to grow,
So friend became foe.
His sister was invading,
So the Eater started trading.
The System finished bidding,
The Eater lost what he was holding.
Gaining something to wield.
Her sword versus his shield,
Neither could yield,
On this blood-bound battlefield.
The System isn’t nice.
Protection at a price.
White as mice,
Take an elephant for shielding ice.
