I finally got my "Titanium Eternity Collar", and I love it! My only advice would be is to order extra keys for it because it is a 1.5mm set screw and hex wrench. I lost the screw getting it on and was fortunate enough to find it. It is on now and I hope to go to a local Hardware store to get more of them and allen wrenches. Not sure, but I think it is on to stay until I get the spares OR if I take it off, it will stay off until I get them. This is all part of my unashamed, blatant penchant for mild BDSM. I did once visit a prospective master but he was too creepy for me, not to mention the risk of being forced to have penetrative intercourse and contracting nasty diseases.

Sigh.

"Strange" is just fine ... Safe is much better.

"Strange" as in, I didn't have to Google what is an Eternity collar.

Suggestion. At hardware store, ask if they have a hex/Allen key set. Mine comes as set of about 10-15 in various sizes, all on a key ring. This may someday be useful in 'regular tools' box.

Also, USA is a backwater, one of three hold-out nations in the whole world still using the imperialist measurement system. So you get to find out if you need imperialist or metric, or both.

Oh. 1.5mm set screw. Metric, of course.

First meetings are >always< in a semi-busy public place. Always have someone who knows where you are going, and with whom. Send your friend a photo of your date's driver's license. If your 'date' balks - you're outa there.

Friend knows when you are expected to report safe-at-home. Better, the friend will call you randomly. Have a code-word or phrase for both 'I am fine" and "call cops".

How is it that I know this?

I had an adventuresome friend who had a 'safety person' - and dang, if I didn't end up marrying her safety! (And no, I was not the first friend's, uhm, play date.)

Extra allen screws and wrenches.

I likely have the allen wrenches, but not the screws. I think I'll take it off in the morning before I ride to the Hardware store. I'm pretty used to the stupid meanness of the old people there.

Thanks

Gwen

You should never

put anything around your neck that won't break if you get it caught on something or someone, otherwise you might end up strangling yourself and then we'd all miss you and be sad.
