Are you aware that folk that are not part of the BCTS community often use your ideas, often very blatantly. I don't know if someone is stealing your stories, or if some of the authors here simply are part of another creative community. I see this emulation most often in the Hollywood Marvel and other "comic book" realm. Not going to mention names here.
Not crying fowl here at all. After all it could all be quite voluntary.

In nearly 13 years of posting here and elsewhere, I have yet to notice anything of mine used by anyone.
But, as someone once said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of larceny." I guess I should be disappointed.

I've been writing for other people to read for almost 65 years. Seeing my ideas used by other people is not something I can worry about. It just happens way too often and is usually mere synchronicity. In fact, I've given away half a dozen writing ideas this week and probably more than 100 this year. Need one? Just ask. Or take one I've used and treat it as your own. No copying my actual words though. That's a different thing.

I'm terribly sorry. I am fully aware that words and ideas get shared back and forth with no harm intended.
I re-watched the first "Twilight" last night and some of what I saw firmly convinced me that the series and "50 Shades" had some sort of collaboration going on. I am very well travelled within my locale and in both movies, especially "Twilight", it was obvious to me where both were filmed. However it may have been nothing more than having beers at the local pub and talking amongst the writers. The re-telling of a story from years ago is fine to me, no matter who the original Author was. I don't intend any sort of Copyright violation accusation on anyone.
It's amusingly obvious from recognizing the shooting locations of various movies that this is done a lot. Comparing the films "Bad Day at Black Rock" (1955) and the one that has a Black rock protruding from the ground. Same general shooting location. No problem, it is all just entertainment. :)
