I've been working on a sequel to "Demonstration Model" and I'm getting frustrated with myself.
I've developed a reputation for flash fiction, and while that's not bad, sometimes, I'd like to actually let a story breathe a bit.
But that's not happening with this story. I'm 370 words in, and I'm going to be lucky to end up with over 500 words.

Anything I can help with?
Anything I can help with? When Bev gave me permission to finish FQ. I was going to write a few chapters, but ended up writing nearly 20!
I've had a couple of days in bed and written a femdom/cd story for another site that's nearly 4000 words. I can suggest some "padding" I'm sure.
That mention of a "ghost" in our last conversation gave me the idea for the alien in Toxic Planet, by the way.

"Round up the usual suspects."
Oh wait ... I'm not "that cop" in Casablanca.
I'll offer my "three suspects", or allies.
- Deep breaths.
- Have some tea.
- Step away for a bit. "Sleep on it".
Sometimes, the very act of stepping away lets the solution come forward.
I once (OK, many times) had a gnarly problem at work. I gave up for the day, just totally blocked. Just left. Started to go home. The solution came to me before I reached my car.
We can spend a lot time pushing really hard on the door to get to a solution. We step back, and see it is a 'pull' door ... and the solution "falls in" on us.

In this case (your story), getting frustrated with yourself ... that at least doubles the problem, from just "The Story", to adding in the frustration ... then adding in all the garbage that the 'frustration' might drag in ...
Lady Grey is a nice citrus-y tea, as are most offerings from Celestial Seasonings...
Often the sleep on it advice
Often the sleep on it advice is good. Overnight our brains sort through all the stuff we have been through that day. Sometimes it solves problems.I have woken up with some great ideas. Trouble is I forget them by breakfast.
