well in UK time anyhow!
So once again, as the first fireworks go off somewhat before blast off, Happy New Year to you all!
Yep its New Year's Eve, i've been pluckin', shavin' and primping for hours this evening to welcome in 2022, I don't dress up often so i was a bit behind on the maintenance side of things but i think i've washed up okay.
Do you like the lights in my hair?
Why am I posting now? well its a pre-emptive strike, Bev and I had ourselves Steak and Chips by way of a celebratory meal earlier and we've polished off one bottle of very passable Shiraz, a second bottle beckons so i thought i'd post the finale to Ontario whilst i was still vaguely sober!
So here it is, a feature length chapter, No Holds Bard in Stratford
Thats all for tonight,
hugs

Happy New Year, Maddy
2021 is behind us. It was better than 2020, but that's not saying much.
I hope your 2020 is far better than 2021. Be well and prosper, Maddy.
And, I'm already looking forward to the further adventures of Weltmeisterin Gaby Bond.

Targets for 2022?
How far are you planning on riding this year? Ever thought of riding up to GOC (via Holyhead)?
I do hope that things get more stable for you wrt your finances this year.

no
Specific targets on 2 wheels, it was making me a bit OCD! Instead i'll try to do rides for 'fun', i've nothing to prove after all.
I am hoping to take a bike up to GOC later in the year, its a comfortable 2 days or a hard one day! Depending on where Covid goes I will be going on a trip or two, hopefully Germany but maybe parts of the UK i've travelled less too/instead.
I've been doing the hand to mouth writing thing since 2016, i've grown used to the life although I could do with more stable income but as the Hitch Hikers Guide suggests, I get by on under 20 Altarian dollars a day! Maybe it's time to look for some actual paid work.
Take care

The blonde is back
Yes like the lights.. I hope the evening continued pleasant and less sober ;)
The sun is out here, and it looks like the first lawn mow of the year will happen.

but
I'm planning a return to red!
Less sober but not drunk, the debris was quickly hidden unlike the washing up which is still staring us in the face this damp morning!
