We so need to steal that "Sad" reaction button from FB ...
Deep breaths.
Have some tea.
"Drop in" on the BCTS FB Break Room, and tap your Huggles(tm) dispenser as many times as you need to.
The 'center' of hurricanes/cyclonic storms is often a very calm place. Sometimes even sunshine. (Yes, they do trash everything on the way in, and do it again on the way out, sigh. I'm not saying this is a great analogy...)
See if you find that center for a while. Just notice what's swirling about. Make a note of what clamors for attention. "OK. I see you. Next?"
After a while, you may have a good idea of what's most urgent, what's most important (not always the same thing...)
Take care! Good luck!
Dottie....Yes
Mainly clinical depression; antidepressants usually help, but after months, usually, my body (liver detoxification system) decides, somehow the ADs aren't wanted and breaks them down.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (for me, winter depression). It is dependent on the length of daylight not temperature or holidays, etc. ADs help some, but aren't as effective as in Spring and Summer.
Some brain problem; cognition and memory keep getting worse, age related I guess, but cause unknown. I'm going to a neurologist, but he won't discuss the problem. I've had various negative tests and have tried OTC pills; can't tell if they're helping or not.
Some loneliness...Kim's got lots of other problems and worries and I don't get much affection. No real friends.
At least my body's pretty good. I don't have the strength and endurance of testosterone fueled cyclists no matter the gender of the clothes they wear. Last week I rode 125 miles in 4 rides, quite flat, winds weren't bad. This week I've had to rest more.
Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee
