I'm jealous too
not because I can't wear such things but because I can't walk in shoes that high. Mind you, they'd be a bit silly walking through a woodland or wading through ponds and streams.

I believe most will be amazed how well they are accepted if they are comfortable with themselves. Whether jeans and a blouse, shirtwaist dress, suede skirt and silk blouse..., I always receive close to the same number of compliments. I'm me, not an imitation, what's inside the covering is the real deal.
Ladies, if you don't try, you'll always wonder. For god's sake don't put yourself in harms way. Take a friend or two or three if possible. Do NOT go clubbing if it is your first time. Not smart! Makes good stories, dumb move in real life. Don't imitate the fiction you read.
Fear is radiated, believe it or not, others sense it. The reason one may need friends is a barrier to provide the comfort zone. Be smart, be careful, be vigilant, and take control of life. Go for the brass ring. If one never tries they will always wonder.
Believe it or not talking to my seamstress today. In the corner of her shop is the most exquisite lace, wedding gown I've ever laid eyes on. "Going to take a beautiful woman to wear that. Or the dress is going to make her a beautiful woman as soon as she puts it on."
Susan laughed as she looked down at herself. "Some are more blessed than others."
Looking down at myself, I rolled my eyes when I looked back up at Susan.
She laughed out loud. "Exactly!"
