i really hope they met their funding goals, city folks don't really care as they can't comprehend that a LOT of aussies are days away from hospitals by road.

I spent nearly 4 hours with 2 wonderful Royal Flying Doctor Service Ambulance Officers last Sunday night,(patient transport from my local Hospital to outskirts of Melbourne).

they kept me talking and distracted so i didn't think of my injury or pain, and when they thought they were going to get re-assigned a hour from destination they were adamant they were going to take me to my destination, it turned out someone issued the wrong code on radio, they were shortly afterward given a new destination for after handover.

for those wondering i got my Left Ring finger too close to a table saw blade, cut thru the finger/ bone between knuckle and finger nail, l'll find out on Thursday if they have saved it.

I'll be fine, I'm more embarrassed than anything as I'm always telling people off for OHS & not wearing safety gear
