okay so I finally, finally, finally took all the clothes that don't fit me to goodwill,

This has been hanging over my head for months, so to get it off my "to do" list feels like a super-human accomplishment.

For a lot of things ...

.. we learn that the mental ... trouble... of putting something off, is far more/worse than actually just doing it ...

Now if I could learn this for myself, sigh.

Congrats! You get to do a happy dance.

Procrastinating

Personally, I've found that putting things off requires significantly less effort than actually doing them. If you have, say, two choices: cleaning house or crawling back in bed, back to bed will win everytime. And before you tell me I'll have to do it eventually, I've gotten by for 6yrs+. Dad was the workaholic, not me!

I happen to be good at procrastinating. I learned from a past master... my father.

It seems I live by the twisted proverb, "Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow."

I've been putting off taking outfits that don't fit to goodwill for years! I just have a hard time letting them go! I remember how cute I looked in them when I got them, but that was before my C-cup chest finished developing and I was dangerously underweight. There's no way they'll ever fit again... but it's just so hard to give them up! ::whimper::

Seriously though, good job! :^)
