The Funniest Story.
I've been nosing around in my old stories and happened upon "The Toy". Much to my astonishment, it is some of the best and funniest fiction I've ever written, and perhaps better than what lots of other authors do. I 'don't understand why it did not do better? Fuck it.

Deterrance
I would like to see a story in which something potentially apocalyptic is deterred by appropriate threatened punishment.

The Toy
Originally published in 2011, and 8500 words.
Though it does not come out immediately, a Galaxy wide crime organization has taken over the local Solar Systems, about a half dozen of them. But first a local criminal has to kidnap a local lineman and make him into a pint sized bed toy for himself. She fights him and then the local Galactic police apprehend him and make him sorry. They don't treat her with respect at first but eventually they catch on to what is going on and punish the malcontents. She and the local Cops have a rolicing good time until the stars are cleansed.
