I think it is so very much harder with our Companions ...

With our Companions, we are forced to choose 'when', and we can never be quite sure if we are 'right'.

With humans, we can usually talk to them, do verbal farewells, closures and such, but the course and timing of their passing is simply outside of our control and decisions ...
