Don't worry about not writing
I recently went almost two months between writing anything of note (although you may question that anything I write is noteworthy...)
I did other things, went on holiday and enjoyed life.
I did try writing but nothing flowed so I resorted to editing.
Then one day, my muse returned. How long it will visit me is anyones guess.

Writer's block
sometimes it helps just to step away for a while and let your muse relax for a while. I know mine is asking for a vacation for a while. When I have problems coming up with something for my stories. I step outside and throw the stick around for my dog or just take a walk or even read something I haven't read in a while.
sometimes that help to get the creative juices going or just watch some television .

Writer's block
Me too Hun. Every time I sit down at the laptop, I either go to Amazon or here. It's cheaper here!
Writer's block
I think that's my home address. I retired a couple of years ago and told myself that now I could write... I could finish all those stories laying languid on my hard drive. Since then, I've managed to post one story, "How Do You Walk in Those Things" a mere 605 words, 104 of which are a blatant plug for my other stories, and one essay, "How Trans is Trans," 1582 words. A total of 2187 words. Both totally new works. That's here. In the other genre I write, zip, nada, zero.
The bummer is I have a great seasonal story for Valentine's Day that I've missed getting done in time for that season two years in a row. I've been working on it for nearly three years and I really want to get it finished. The problem is that each time I clear a hurdle that's been blocking me, it's only a couple of pages before something in the story line needs a tweak to make it fit... wallah writer's block.
Mean while, I have 15 other stories and two essays unfinished; some of which have lain fallow for a decade or more in this genre alone.

Muse, but more on spoons
I find that reading other's stories tickles my muse. It is a secondary problem compared to the lack of spoons. The best I can suggest there is what works for me. Broccoli tempura seems to help a lot and lacks the normal bitter taste of broccoli. It always gives me at least an extra teaspoon and sometimes it gives a total spoon refund when you feel the satisfaction of getting something done after all. Getting a couple of extra spoons during the day is a real mood raiser.
