Chapter Two
In chapter two, Cathy says, "I just blushed to the roots of my long fair hair." :) Her hair color isn't mentioned again for several more chapters.

By longest, I mean number of words and chapters. Originally, I had accidentally typed longest-running, which was not accurate. Maddy Bell's Gaby started two years before Bike in 2005 and is also still going strong with pretty much weekly chapters being posted!
Both are marathon accomplishments and BigCloset is happy to host them both. Someone kindly corrected me in a PM and I'm pleased to be able to fix the error. :)

12 Years of A Wonderful Story!
What an amazing milestone! I have loved this story from the first episode and I definitely believe it has to be the longest running story on the internet . I think you mentioned once that you had surpassed the word count of “War and Peace” and it makes me think that it has to be in serious contention for a mention the Guinness Book of World Records “ as the longest running internet series. Thank you so much for the many years of enjoyment you have given us with this story !
