Older beta-readers needed for a story set in the early 1970s

I recently finished a short novel (46,800 words) set in a fictional midwestern college in the early 1970s. I've done research, but I wasn't born yet at the time the story is set, and I'd like to have at least one older beta reader read it and give me feedback before I do the final draft and publish it.

It's science fiction/alternate history, where the only major difference is the rediscovery of the drug invented by Dr. Henry Jekyll, and its use both as a therapeutic drug in psychiatric treatment, and as a recreational drug on college campuses. The main character tries it and finds that his alter ego is a woman, more cheerful and outgoing than his baseline male self. They experiment with it a number of times over their college career and figure out more about their gender identity and sexuality.
