I am re-reading Somewhere Else Entirely by Penny Lane, and I can highly recommend it if you havent read it (or even if you have). Its a long story, so be prepared to get hooked for some time, though.

Me too

There seems to be a lot of that going around. I just finished the reread, and now I'm going back to give kudos and read the comments.

Yes!

I am about to run out of "Honor Harrington, so perhaps I'll do that also. Bike is a good re-read also.

Ack!

Now I have another long story to add to my must read list.

SEE, a must read

After you read it, it will then be on your must reread list. I'm going through it a second time and it strikes me as more brilliant the second time through. It really is superb.

SEE as radical distraction

Perhaps I too need a break? I've been mucking about with a long, dystopian, post apocalyptic tale that is not settled in my head yet and it has me going bonkers.

Harrington

If you've managed all 18 novels... or is it more, now? then you have my sincere congratulations.

Although I consider myself a quick reader I judge that it takes me about four to six months to read them all. Sometimes I just concentrate on one of the story arcs, though. Ever since Eric Flint started writing about the genetic slave rebellion things seem to have gotten very confusing.

I promised myself that I wouldn't let Anmar develop to that extent, but I'm not sure I'm succeeding.

Just finished SEE

I just finished my 4th(?) reading of SEE. It is a long story and I lose sleep while reading it but it is one of my favorite stories.

I also keep up with Julia Phillips "Julina of Blackstone's Collection" that covers the same world and time - I've read it multiple times also.

Homonyms, synonyms, heterographs, contractions, slang, colloquialisms, clichés, spoonerisms, and plain old misspellings are the bane of writers, but the art and magic of the story is in the telling not in the spelling.

Time to spare

It seems from your own blog that you are laid up for a bit so maybe SEE is the perfect thing to help pass the hours. I suspect that there are those who are wondering why you aren't writing your own stuff, though...

Thank you for your profuse comments. They have completely filled my Track page and I know you have only reached chapter 50 so far. Don't be concerned, I would rather someone commented than not, though I understand how precious time is to some readers - and most writers.

You have much more fun to come, so enjoy!

Penny

I often cherry pick reread.

I often cherry pick reread. Looking for specific details, maybe somepoint soon i will go back for a proper reread.
