As if I haven't had enough trouble, according to the lady from the Alberta government who is helping me, my application for handicapped assistance has disappeared and I am going to have to fill it out again.
Sighs ... can I bonk my head repeatedly now?

update: I got another call from the lady helping me, and she said they found my application. so yay, I wont have to re-do it.

Glad to hear that it was found, government ineptitude is legendary. Hope it gets sorted out soon in your favour.
I've had files end up lost in the past and had to redo things, wasting months in the process. It's not a nice thing to experience.
I can understand the problems
I can understand the problems with a Government losing paperwork. When I joined the Army, they lost my medical records overnight. Fortunately they found them between the time I got there and the time I was supposed to leave.
