Just...awsome
Every chapter left me wanting more.
Aw, you just made my day!
Thanks so much for the support! I really appreciate it. :D
Don't worry, there will be more, but after I take a little break to pound out a short story I started a while ago. I'll leave you with the prologue for Mana Fire in a few days, though. ;)
Amber
I was really wondering when Amber's past would come to the head. SHe has a lot of rage and pain to work through and well...Calvin keeps getting away with all the horrible stuff he's done. And he continues to do it: i guess he either doesn't know how to face it, or he's a massive coward who won't face it: he's too afraid of it.
Actually...
I never planned for that to happen to Amber, at least not originally. I was wondering how to transition from Amber and Danna meeting to the next story arc. The idea of Teijurzi "swallowing" Amber and sending her on a rage-fueled bender just came to me. It wasn't hard from there to come up with the idea that anger from her past would give rise to it.
Don isn't really afraid. He just has a utilitarian way of dealing with things that causes him to act pragmatically for what he sees is good, rather than acting how a human should act. ;) Of course, that hasn't always worked out the way he intended, has it?
Check out Mana Fire in a few days to see what they do next. ;)
mana's fire
I will! Though I do hope that Amber does confront her past and so does Don. She's been through some really traumatic stuff that she doesn't seem to have really confronted. In fact nobody has, the fact that she's a ticking emotional time bomb, even if you didn't plan it, makes absolutely perfect sense.
And all it needed...
...was a spark of Teijurzi's nigh-unlimited hate to set it off! I know how the situation will resolve in Mana Fire , but I don't know the details about how Amber's past will be handled. We'll see how it comes out in the writing.
happy
I, and i think i speak for more than just myself, was happy to be part of this journey.
Also, as a writer should, you have left us in hunger.
Happier
It makes me even happier to be able to share it with you! Writing this tale has been a joy from start to finish. Thank you for your support. I may have left you wanting more, but don't worry. It's coming, and like many sequels, it's bigger than anything you've seen yet. I only hope it will be like Amber said: a wonder like you never saw before! ;)
I don't know
I don't know how you do it but this was absolutely amazing. And Gosh darn it I knew those two were still alive and OMG an army?! And AMBER NO!!!! I really have to know what happens next, I hope you're next book will be ready soon. Just... wow I'm in awe of your story telling. Each book just gets better and better!
I know who I am, I am me, and I like me ^^
Transgender, Gamer, Little, Princess, Therian and proud :D
Thanks!
Bryce and co. definitely have their work cut out for them. Helping Danna. Amber's a red archon. What to with Sarah? The archon's Army of Light. Heh.
But I have to say that's nothing compared to what's coming. You'll learn soon when I release the prologue for the sequel in a few days. So don't worry, you will get to see what's coming next. ;)
It's been a lot of fun writing this, and I'll be starting work on the main body of the sequel soon. Thanks so much for all your comments and support. I loved reading them as I shared my vision.
