As the medalion held the stollen half of Taylor's archeron soul
is the *new* archron some partial hybrid of her and Amber?
And the voice trying to help her from the void, the rest of Taylor trying to make amends? That the new archeron told Courtney...
I quote
>>
Just before the last of her was burned away into nothingness, she looked at Courtney, and her lips curled into the slightest smile. She silently mouthed words, “I’ll always love you.”
And then she was gone.
>>
...just who was speaking? Amber, Taylor or both?
And what of Sarah? Is she recovered or is it that 24 hour revival someone mentioned earlier?
What was the real reason they kept her daughter from Amber?
Was Amber in her rage right and her daughter is in essence no more? That this child is a changling of sorts?
Will we ever know the truth?
Will Amber ever be herself again?

Yes...
... the new archon is a hybrid of Amber and Teijurzi, human and archon.
Most of your other questions will be answered in the last 2 chapters of the story, so I won't spoil them, but great insights on some of your points. ;) As for the riddles that will not be solved by the end of the story:
...just who was speaking [to Courtney]? Amber, Taylor or both?
Amber.
Will we ever know the truth?
Yes, but there are many truths, and they often lead to more questions. ;)
Will Amber ever be herself again?
The real question is: will she want to? As an archon she'll have access to all the secrets of the universe she's been chasing. :)
Thanks for the insightful comment! I hope you will enjoy the end and how things get resolved.

Well now...
That was a bit crazier than I was expecting... Truly epic!
Abigail Drew.
Thanks!
You should know by now, I'm not a writer that goes with the safe bet. ;) I'm glad you appreciated it! I hope you like how it all settles.
By the way, if you think this was big, the next book will start off a bit epic, too. ;) I just wrote the prologue.
Whoa now.
There's going to be MORE!?
Abigail Drew.
There will be MOAR!
Heh, to be honest, I never intended this to be the end of Whispers, but it was running a bit long for a Paranormal novel. So, I adjusted the last few scenes to end the story and setup the next one. ;)
But that also means I'll be wrapping up one story thread, while opening up another. It just made sense to combine the conflicts and blow it all open. It's going to be a massive royal rumble! :D
