This is an audio book version of my story, Shoes. The story is about a teenage boy who's trying his best to understand some major life changes his younger sibling is going through. (Note: If you ever wondered what I sound like, here's your chance. ^.~)

Thanks Heather!
I listened to the audio book and it is a great adaptation of your story to this media form. I've downloaded it to my computer so I can transfer it to my MP3 player.
I'm living with my parents now. Seven years from the day that they banished me from their lives for what was supposed to be forever. I'm not sure what will end up bridging the gap between actually believing that I am really a transwoman and their resignation that if they are going to have a relationship with me that its gonna be with me as their daughter. The funny part is that in the limited ways we interact with others that I pass so well now that it would take a lot more explantion if they didnt treat me as their daughter with the right name and pronouns than if they tried to hold onto what was with the inevitable questions it would have for those involved.
I'm gonna pick a good time and play this audio book for them. For me to get them to listen to it is going to be a lot easier than if I gave them printouts of your story to read. And we'll see what happens.. Everything comes for a reason and a part in a greater plan. Thank you for your part in that plan Heather!

Great Idea!
Love the format and it goes hand in hand with the excellent and quality tale you wrote! Shoes derives its quality from feeling, connecting with others through basic emotions and the characters just stand out as everyday regular people trying to deal with some extraordinary situation. The audio book is a great idea and I believe other daring and willing authors that might collaborate with you could could create such gems as well with their tales :)
Many super hugs and love Heather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
