Well, with Kylie's permission, I have a major announcement to make.
We're a couple.
Not only are we now an online girlfriend-girlfriend type couple, but Kylie is making concrete and practical plans to make it possible for us to be together in real life. The major steps of this plan are: to get a passport so she can visit me and spend some time in my actual presence; to then get a visa so she can work in Canada; and then, assuming she hasnt decided to run away screaming by this point, to get landed immigrant status so she can be with me and marry me.
All of this will take time, money, and a lot of hard work, most of it from her end, because there is almost nothing I can do to help. I hope this works. I hope I can be the amazingly awesome person she thinks I am, because she deserves it.
Let the happy dancing begin!

Wonderful news Dot. Here's hoping it all works out, I'm so hoping it will. Good luck on your journey, it's a road many of us walk along (and some of us limp along,) So heads up, be bold and remember every journey starts with one small step.
