Make sure you know what the transfer entails.
Does the pay change? Could it go back to some lower wage level? I read an article today regarding an unnamed fastfood chain that apparently reduces wage to a prior step if you change locations.
Does the job assignments change? Hours? Duties? Can the shift change?
Could benefits change because of location?
Will Dorothy have a problem at the new location versus you now being accepted for your true self at the current location?
Make sure that all is well before making the move.
Perhaps check out the store by a visit or through the grapevine.

Closer to Work
Closer to work is always nice, especially if your still doing the same job and he people are nice. I went from a 6 mile drive to a 30 mile drive recently. Better than the 85 mile drive I had once :)
