Do you remember me? I sat upon your knee. I wrote to you with childhood fantasies.

Well, I'm all grown-up now. Can you still help somehow? I'm not a child, but my heart still can dream.

So here's my lifelong wish - my grown-up christmas list: not for myself but for a world in need.

No more lives torn apart, and wars would never start, and time would heal all hearts, and everyone would have a friend, and right would always win, and love would never end.

This is my grown-up christmas list. This is my only lifelong wish. This is my grown-up christmas list.

Moe and I wish you a wonderful day tomorrow. For a few of us, it might not sound possible, but it is. I have been through what you're going through, but I didn't give up and I eventually came out on the other side. An opportunity, a willing heart, the volition to do something, and time - that's all it takes. Really. It's all up to you.

Believe.

Merry Christmas to you and yours. But I prefer the Kelly Clarkson cover of "Grown Up Christmas List" over the Bubbly version. (And I'm imagining remembering a Vanessa Williams rendition, but I can't find it on the internets.)
