Great Idea.
Energy is not created or destroyed. It has to be transformed, you may have found a big help in your reprogramming the terrible things that happened by using your stories to apply the counter energy to that of the wound. I have used this my self a lot and it is a very good method because you are applying it and you know where each root of this trauma exists. Good luck and I am looking forward to what this creates.

What if he was good instead of sick and twisted?
Or what if you'd gone to a different doctor who actually wanted to help you?
That might make a good "what if" story, and be therapeutic for you to write, also. Go for it...
