CHAT ROOM BOOGIE

He was a trumpet man from Jersey City way
He had a boogie style that no one else could play
He was the top man, just the best
but with a secret to keep, he was afraid to confess
He's not a trumpet man, just a trannie wearin' a dress
She's the boogie-woogie bugle girl of BCTS

They made her blow a bugle, made her play her best
It really brought her down, cause she couldn't wear a dress
But her friends they understood
That even with a dress, she had somethin' under the hood
But now she's playin' jazz and wearin' panties, yes?
She's the boogie-woogie bugle girl of BCTS

A-toot a-toot, a-toot diddle-ee-ada-toot
She walks up to the bar - in boogie rhythm
It's ladies night and her figure gets her far
(She's wearing nylons now!)
But now she's playin' jazz and wearin' panties, yes?
She's the boogie-woogie bugle girl of BCTS

She was the boogie-woogie bugle girl of BCTS!
And she walks with a wiggle and a nice little jiggle
She's a girl with somthin' extra, yes?
And when she plays she makes the chatters say she's the best!
She's the boogie-woogie bugle girl of BCTS

A-toot a-toot, a-toot diddle-ee-ada-toot
She walks up to the bar - in boogie rhythm
It's ladies night and her figure gets her far
(She's wearing a teddy, oooh!)
But now she's playin' jazz and wearin' panties, yes?
She's the boogie-woogie bugle girl of BCTS

She puts the girls to sleep with boogie every night
And wakes them up the same way in the early bright
They clap their hands and stamp their feet
Because they know how she plays
When someone gives her a beat
They're disappointed now having learned the truth
She's t-girl, she's a lezzie with a girlfriend named Ruth

Da-da, da-do-da-da
Da-da, da-do-da-da
Da-da, da-do-da-da
Da-da, da-do-da
She's just a T-girl with somethin' extra, yes?
She's the boogie-woogie bugle girl of BCTS

Hey sis,
How did you know I was a horn player? In high school I played in senior band, dance band, orchestra and the stupid marching band. If I hadn't taken all those music classes I never would have graduated. LOL

I also played tenor sax, drums, and guitar.

ANDREW"S WHAT???

ALISON

Whatever happened to the Bugle Boy for Company C---or was it CD ??
Three masterpieces in as many days!Think of your sisters blood pressure 'Drea.Thank you for the best giggle I have had in a long time.I read the first verse and roared with laughter and I'm still giggling. You
really do excel yourself and I now pronounce you the Poet Laureate of BCTS.

WOW Drea - you're good! That was so fast my head is spinning. Cool stuff! I love it! You'll have to do one about Costello now for the set... ;-)

You Are So Bloody Great

I sang it to myself all the way through and it really worked. Just as well I didn't have to sing it out loud or all your fans would have beaten a hasty retreat! Screaming!

Bugle Boy-Girl of BCTS

It would be nice to see and hear it performed by a trio of Andrews Sisters impersonators.

You had me singing...
