Recently, everything I read on big closet comen up on my screen (Samsung Galaxy Tab●4) with a purple background. Now, for those of us who don't see as well as we used to, this makes reading more difficult especially when the font size is small.
I recently had to stop reading a story because of this. It didn't help that I wasn't finding the story very entertaining. (It just wasn't my cup of tea, eh?)
There's a story that I want to bookmark so I've clicked on 'bookmark' but, when I call up my bookmarks, it isn't there! I've tried three times with the sake result. (Aaargh!). Is this part of the continuing saga of Erin's problems with her server?
Thank you SO much, Erin et al, for doing whatever had to be done to get 'it' up and running again. I'm sure it was a LOT of work and I apologize that I dont know enough about computers to REALLY appreciate what you did. But, as a frequent reader, I thank you very much for looking Fter us peasants as well as you do.
But why punish the innocent for the transgressions of a few? Why not just block them, forever if you like, and leave the rest of us be? I appreciate that it may be that I just don't understand what's going on. So, feel free to enlighten me, Erin or anyone else that cares to!
I HATE it that, when I click on the "Great Story" button, to make room for "Thank you for the kudo" (or whatever it says), everything below drops a line. So, when I try to click on "++Bookmark", I end up clicking on something else.
It seems to me that there is plenty of blank space to the right of the GS button so why does the 'kudo' acknowledgement have to go UNDER it in space that has to be created forcing the blue links out of position?
This is an effort to express the frustration I feel at so many authors who don't check their spelling or grammar. I can tell that many are using spellcheckers but are relying on them totally. I see such things as 'choirs' for 'chores' -- just the latest example!
Many times, when I try to vote on a story, a dialogue box opens that says, " An HTTP error 0 occured (sic). /topshelf/drupalit/count-vote/7441/1" and the 'vote/voted' box goes blank.
