Concerning Depression

My heart goes out to my fellow trans ladies out there struggling with Depression and thoughts of harm. I have only been 'out' to the world since last Labor Day, having been firmly in the closet since age 7-8. This past holiday season was my worst ever, being shunned by my children and a large part of my relatives.

Opinions Welcome (Needed)

In a previous life (BC) I was an executive recruiter for over 35 years. I actually got into the business by accident when as a struggling CPA, I spoke to a recruiter to help me find a new position. Instead, he suggested working along side him at a place called Source Finance. It turned it to be a job and industry that suited my skills to a T.

A Simple Request

I seem to have lost my editor due to a conflict of interest. Would anyone be interested in giving a contest story (or three) of mine a review? They won't be ready for about a week as I am busy reading the current avalanche of entries. Perhaps if you would be willing, you could drop me a DM with your email? Thank you in advance. :DD TAF

My Apologies

I must apologize to Erin and BC and all of the wonderful authors that have not only gifted us with their stories, but have allowed their stories to be published on Amazon and others and have donated all of their proceeds back to BC.

I am a daily reader on BC and try my best to post positive comments on the stories I read. I think most would agree, we have excellent writers on BC and their stories are very entertaining. Some of them elicit literally dozens of comments and are quite interactive.

On a positive note...

A little while ago, Jessica C (from Germany) posted that she was visiting a small town in Canada, near London, Ontario and asked if anyone wanted to get together. I corresponded with her and since I live near Detroit, MI, and London is only about a two and one half hour drive. We agreed to get together. There is a small town called Stratford that is also near London and is famous for their Stratford Festival during the summer where they put on first-class plays. I made arrangements and we agreed to get together and see Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing'.

Coronation

I'm not trying to create controversy or seem snarky in my first ever blog. As an American, I don't understand why my English sisters and brothers still have this tradition. Without putting down us 'across the pond' sisters, do most English still want to hold on to the Monarchy? I don't believe anyone still thinks it is ordained of God, or that all the Kings, Queens, Knights, Prince, Princesses, Dukes, Duchesses, etc. are anything special. I will own up to watching live in awe at the wedding of Charles and Diana back in 1981.
