They already met the real you...
...so to speak. You may have hidden, but try as you may, the real you has always been present; loving and caring child to your mother. Strong and patient and kind sibling. Fantastic parent to your daughter. They'll just be getting to know MORE of the same person. My prayers to you for grace in the midst of understandable but defeatable fears.

Is this the same brother who said he doesn't believe you really are transgender, but just confused into thinking that because of your childhood sexual abuse? Although I think you said he's been better toward you lately. I hope he stood by you if anyone else gave you grief about it.
