One of my co-workers told me I'm kind of an ambassador, which I kinda struggled with as a concept.

But I guess I am, in a way, since I might just be the only trans person some of my friends know well, so I kinda have to put us in the best light I can.

Trouble is, I've got a few other problems besides the trans stuff, so I hope I dont let the side down ....

Ah, well.

Awww, Dot...

No one's actually said such to me, but I'm pretty well such as well in the circles I move in...

And I can assure you that you have nothing to worry about on putting a bad light on us! We all have our own issues, even people who don't have the "big one" that we do!

The ones who make us look bad are the ones who go on shows like Jerry Springer. I know we shouldn't, but sometimes I wonder if those people are actually trans, because I know no one on this site who is would EVER want to draw that kind of attention to themselves. I don't.

I'm sure your friends will understand that you have other problems to deal with in addition to your transgenderism.

As for me, I'm no ambassador. Not even for BiGender folks, let alone Trans folks. I live in stealth naturally, because many of the masculine mannerisms that society expects of me come naturally to me anyway.

Dorothy is as Dorothy does.

Dorothy is as Dorothy does. Your caring nature and genuine feelings make you friendly to all around you despite the other problems. Ambassador, sure I say we get you a flag and everything :p Smiles, Jenn.

Ambassador Dorothy?

As well as a mother figure, much like Angharad's Cathy.
