Well, I had a busy day today.
Isaw the psch doc, and he's up the dose of my anti-depressant. I also saw the sleep clinic, and I have severe sleep apnea, so they gave me a machine to help me breathe in my sleep.

c-pap
they put me on one of those machines as well, when I was tested they said I stopped breathing 138 time during the night. This leads to increased blood pressure and strain on my heart as the body panics and semi wakes you flooding your system with adrenalin and such. Still I do find it difficult to sleep with a mask on, but it seems to work as the machine monitors my breathing and says I only get the apnea 3-5 times a night instead of over a hundred.
Sleep apnea
My mom and all of her siblings, as well as a few of my cousins, have to use a c-pap. For sdveral of them, using a chin-strap allows them to sleep also without the mask. Especially when there is no electricity.
To make a chin-strap, start with two lycra head-bands. Sew them together side by side, leaving open almost half (that goes behind your head) on one side, and leaving another gap of a few cm on the other side (that goes over your chin).
