Just got done doing my version of "high finance" - laying out my general budget for the next few months.

I was feeling pretty optimistic ... until I remembered that my car has started "purring like a lion" ... almost certainly an exhaust system problem. Sigh. So, sniff!! I'm skipping a vegan festival that is over a hundred miles away. The thought of having disabling car trouble a hundred miles from home ... uhm, no thanks.
