"They'll Be a Change in the Weather"
By Higgins and Overstreet
(based on the 1927 Bessie Smith recording)

They say don't change the old for the new,
But I've found that this will never do.
When you grow old, you don't last long.
You're just here, my Honey, then you're gone.
I've loved a man for many years gone by.
I thought his love for me would never die
He made a change and said I would not do.
So now, I'm gonna make some changes, too.

Why, there's a change in the weather, a change in the sea,
So from now on, there'll be a change in me.
My walk will be different, my talk, and my name.
Nothing about me's going to be the same.
I'm gonna change my long tall one for a little short and fat.
I'm gonna change my number that I'm living at.
Because nobody loves you, when you're old and gray,
There'll be some changes made today.
There'll be some changes made.

Why, there's a change in the weather, a change in the sea,
So from now on, there'll be a change in me.
My walk will be different, my talk, and my name.
Nothing about me's going to be the same.
I'm gonna change my way of living, and that ain't no shock.
Why, I'm thinking of changing the way I gotta set my clock.
Because nobody loves you, when you're old and gray,
There'll be some changes made today.
There'll be some changes made.

"The Medallion of Zulo"
By Ellie Dauber

Marriage can change, and things just get stale.
And that's the reason for this crazy tale.
When you grow old, you don't last long.
You're just here, my buddy, then you're gone.
I've loved a gal for many years gone by.
I thought her love for me would never die
She made a change and said I would not do.
So then, I had to make some changes, too.

Then that Medallion of Zulo made a change in me,
And none of us are who we used to be.
My wife is my father, now; our daughter's her wife;
I'm back in school; living a young girl's life.
I'm gotta wear bra and panties and a mini-skirt and heels,
And when I touch my body, oh, how good it feels.
We're all living our lives in a brand new way.
There were some changes made that day.
There were some changes made.

Yes, that Medallion of Zulo made a change in me.
And from now on, that's who I'm going to be.
My walk will be different, my talk, and my name.
Nothing about me's going to be the same.
Because we lost that damn Medallion, and I'm out of luck
It was just for the weekend, but now it seems that we're all stuck.
Because nobody loves you, when you're old and gray,
And now my boy friend showed up. He thinks I'm cute this way.
I love the changes made that day.
Love life a woman's way.

It always happens.

After appearing and tempting people with fun and excitement, the Medallion disappears, leaving the participants stuck. It usually happens at the worst time, although I can't really say that in this case.
