Do you trust the aliens?
I'm close enough to the end of my life (not that close, but close enough) that I would try it on myself -- like any other mad scientist worth his salt. If that worked, I would use it on everyone I love. Then, I would get with them all and we would do our best to figure out how to make it available worldwide.
It would probably involve the use of TOR and YouTube to spread the news far and wide and offer to give it to an international task force drawn from all of the world's freedom loving countries.
I would keep it out of the hands of Big Pharma because Big Pharma would like it about as much as the diamond companies would like to see someone create gem quality artificial diamonds.
Remember, a patient cured is a customer lost.
